It presents a brief retrospective about Radis/Ensp-Fiocruz program to introduce 'Hemeroteca RADIS' - data base of clippings of newspapers with subjects related to the public health, for local consultation and remote (interface internet) -, formed from the quantity accumulated by the program throughout its 23 years existence (1982/2005).
 
It promotes a quarrel about some practices in knowledge management inserted in the objectives and goals, that are:
- Congregate and spread out relatives journalistic information related to the public health area;
- To subsidize research and studies in diverse levels that,
o  Support the system of taking managements decisions for users of the service;
o  Preserve, inside of its limits, safeguards the memory of the public health.
