P31 - Information and knowledge management: innovative ways to support information management processes in health and organizational knowledge
The scope of subjects in Information and Knowledge Management are wide and comprehensive and have being dealt with under different approaches according to the interest area of public institutions. In the Brazilian organizational environment of the Health System Administration (Sistema Único de Saúde-SUS),there is a necessity for a systematic action to optimize the process of production and sharing of the knowledge about treatment and usage of information in public health for a social control. In this context, regarding the existence of national information policy and health informatics connected to programs and projects aimed at work management and continued education in public health. The aim of this study was to investigate the concepts, the practices and the relevant factors of both Information and Knowledge Management. Thus, it was verified the importance of these Management models, as well as the role of human potential in the improvement of the organizational knowledge. It can contribute to for crea te new behavior patterns in the analysis processes and in the use of information to qualify both the public health and social control services. Within this perspective, it was observed the necessity of new studies which propose a project aiming at the establishment of Practical Communities in the Health Municipal Management. This novel form of organization of the knowledge society will contribute to institute a formal, interdisciplinary and intersetorial area, encouraging the continued education and the shared knowledge among work teams with a systemic and critical view. The role of these work teams is to analyze, use and furnish information about health, in a expressive way, as well as support the health managers at all setorial levels of the regional environment of public health in a way that this social sector is controlled with high proficiency.
