P81 - Searching “Ecstasy” information on Internet

OBJECTIVE: The present study aims to evaluate Internet web sites about de drug  Ecstasy. It searches to identify if those are reliable and qualified as information sources, once one major problem of the Internet user is selecting and recuperating relevant data due to the large volume of available information. 
METHODS: 87 web sites were analyzed concerning origin, instrument ad information quality.
RESULTS: Concerning the criterion “web site origin” and “instrument quality”only 47% and 51%, respectively, attended the requirements. In the criterion “information quality” we observed importantly data was not complete.
CONCLUSIONS: The author believes web site owners should be more careful about the instrument and information quality, once these elements are indispensable for its reliability. New instruments to evaluate Internet information search  should be created, assuring the user the best quality of data.
