P118 - Virtual libraries’ contribution for the information management in the professional education field: the Brazilian Health Schools’ case

Our goal is to analyze the necessity of implanting and increasing the number of virtual libraries in the Brazilian health system. The work was based on researches done by some technical schools of health. The results of such researches are available on the Internet, on the websites of these institutions*.
At first, there’ll be some theoretical introduction concerning the main aspects of this work, such as: networks, information networks and communication/information electronical networks. Then, the influence of these networks will be presented focusing mainly on SUS – Brazilian Health System. Some brief explanation about SUS will be given in addiction to further information on health education. Finally, the three analyzed topics (networks, Brazilian health system and health education) will be put together for final conclusions.
